New Delhi: Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Imam Bukhari announced on Friday that the holy festival Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated at the end of Ramadan will be celebrated on Saturday in India. Bukhari said that the new moon has been shown at approximately 7.35 pm on Friday evening. Bukhari said that on the Pakistan occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt condolences to all the people and best wishes. Eid festival is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal, which starts next day after the new moon looks.
