CRPF launched the first Mental Health Project to check the mental condition of the soldiers

After the reports of increasing suicide in the jawans, the CRPF has started the first Mental Health Project. CRPF Director General RR Bhatnagar said in an interview that the suicide of the jawans is a matter of concern. Given this, this pilot project has been started. AIIMS and Tata Institute of Social Science have been signed for this.

Their special kind of test and interview will be taken to examine the mental condition of the soldiers through the Mental Health Project. Last year, 156 people died from heart attacks, while 38 had come under stress and had committed suicide. At the same time, 435 died due to any other reason.
