Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro coming to India next month: Here's what Xiaomi is not telling you yet, The Redmi Note 7 Indian version will get a revamped UI with the Google Play Store, while the rest features will not be changed. The Redmi Note will sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with Gorilla Glass on top.

Xiaomi has seemingly confirmed that there will be a new device called the Redmi Note 7 Pro slated to hit the market soon. The upcoming device's possibility was revealed by Redmi sub-brand head Lu Weibing when he was asked by fans on Chinese social media website Weibo about expectation regarding the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. A fan had allegedly asked if the Pro version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and is slated to launch in the market with 3GB of RAM as well. The answer to that question was that the Pro version should technically be powered by a 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of native storage.

This news perfectly lines up with other online reports which have stated that the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will be expected to be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset and not the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is present in the Redmi Note 7 sold in China currently.

The Redmi Note 7 was launched in China earlier this month and has quickly become one of the biggest hot topics across the smartphone industry. Robust and military grade build quality, 48-megapixel camera setup, and a price tag of just CNY 999 which is (roughly around Rs. 10,400), something which has earned the device a lot of interest.

The Redmi Note 7 Indian version will get a revamped UI with the Google Play Store, while the rest features will not be changed. The Redmi Note will sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. The specs of the Redmi Note 7 are incidentally better than the Redmi Note 6 Pro which was launched in India for a starting price of Rs. 13,999.

In terms of pricing of earlier models in the Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 3 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 9,999. The next model, the Redmi Note 4, was also launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 9,999. The successor Redmi Note 5 was launched in India at a price of you-guessed-it-right-9999. However, this time Xiaomi also launched the Note 5 Pro at a starting price of Rs. 13,999. The next model, the Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched at a starting price of again - Rs. 13,999.

Now if you look at the pricing structure, the Redmi Note 7, when launched in the Indian market, should carry a starting price of around Rs. 9,999. Various reports have mentioned that the expected price of the Redmi Note 7 in India will be around Rs. 13,999 or less. For the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the pricing as previous models go should be around Rs. 13,999. But nothing has been confirmed by Xiaomi or Redmi yet. Fingers crossed!
