Realme X, Leap to Premium, and Realme 3i have been launched in India. The Realme X is a premium mid-range smartphone that touts a notchless AMOLED display and Snapdragon 710 SoC, while the Realme 3i is a budget phone that brings a Dewdrop display and Helio P60 chipset. Both the Realme X and Realme 3i will go on sale on Flipkart, Amazon, and Realme.com.

Realme X and Realme 3i are now official in India. The company launched the two phones at an event in New Delhi where it also revealed the pricing and availability details. The Realme X comes to India after making its debut in China. It is a feature-packed premium mid-range smartphone that highlights an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710 chipset and 48MP dual camera, among other things. The Realme 3i is a budget phone that offers a smudge-free diamond-cut design, Helio P60 chipset and a large 4,230mAh battery.

Realme X has been priced starting at Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant and Rs19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The Realme X will be offered in Polar White and Space Blue gradient colours. The Realme X will go on sale for the first time on July 24 at 12 noon on Flipkart and Realme.com. Realme will hold a special sale on July 18 at 8pm for those who pre-ordered the device last week. The Realme X will also go on sale via offline stores soon.

Realme has also announced the Realme X Master Edition which comes in Onion and Garlic-inspired finishes priced at Rs 19,999. Additionally, the Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home edition that comes in a special box that includes a Spider-Man-themed case and icon pack. This edition is priced at Rs 20,999. Both the special edition phones will go on sale in August.

The budget Realme 3i starts at Rs 7,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB version. The first sale date will be on July 23, 2019 at 12 noon on Flipkart and Realme.com. The Realme 3i will be available in three colours - Diamond Black, Diamond Blue and Diamond Red.

Realme X highlights a premium body as it gets a tall, bezel-less display on the front and a curved glasstic rear panel in gradient finishes along with a metal frame. The Realme X is the company's first phone to offer a notchless Super AMOLED display to bring a pure full-screen experience. The smartphone sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340x1080) screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, over 91 percent screen-to-body ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Powering the Realme X is a 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Realme X does not support storage expandability. It houses a 3,765mAh battery and support VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top. The Realme X also supports Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience via headphones.

Realme X comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well. The phone offers a pop-up selfie camera that houses a 16-megapixel f/2.0 sensor. The pop-up camera is said to rise in just 0.74 seconds and will automatically retract when detecting fall. On the back of the Realme X, you get a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.6 micron pixel and 6P lens and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. The Realme X offers features like Nightscape and Chroma Boost.

Realme 3i specifications

Realme 3i is the first smartphone in the company's new Realme "i" series. The Realme 3i is largely similar to the Realme 3 that was launched earlier this year. It gets a similar 6.2-inch HD+ (1520x720) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The rear panel is different here as it sports a diamond-cut design with a matt finish much like the Realme C2. It will be offered in three colours - Diamond Black, Diamond Blue and Diamond Red. The handset measures 156.1x75.6x8.3mm and weighs 175 grams.

The smartphone is powered by a 2.0Ghz Helio P60 octa-core chipset with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. The phone offers a triple card slot with two Nano SIM cards (Dual VoLTE) and a microSD card support. It comes with fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Realme 3i offers a 13-megapixel main camera with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone features a 13-megapixel selfie sensor. The Realme 3i also runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie and houses a 4,230mAh battery.

The Realme X comes with a mid-range tag and brings amazing features. It is the first smartphone in this range to bring a pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone carries superb specs with strong configuration, great camera resolution, huge battery capacity with fast charging and sufficient storage. However, the storage of the smartphone is very limited.

The Realme X flaunts a superb bezel-less display, which has a 6.53-inch display and a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. It has AMOLED display type that features a Corning Gorilla Glass from fifth gen. The 395 PPI density adds sharpness to the content, provide a crisp visual experience one would admire.

The camera department of the smartphone features a dual setup at the rear end with 48MP and 5MP lenses, while a front pop-up camera contains a 16MP resolution.

The device comes with an octa-core (2.2GHz dual-core Kryo 360 and 1.7GHz hexa-core, Kryo 360) processor, which is seated upon the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chip.
