Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who went on a seven-day US tour, spent the first day in Houston in meetings and interactions with people from the American CEO to the Indian community. People of the Indian community were very happy to meet PM Modi. The people of the Sikh community thanked him for the Kartarpur corridor, while the Kashmiri Pandits living in America became emotional to meet him.

PM Modi also appeared emotional while meeting Kashmiri Pandits. During the conversation, Surinder Kaul, who represents the community of Kashmiri Pandits, kissed his hand. Welcoming the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, he told PM Modi that he is with you in every step known for the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

Kaul told the media that we thanked him for taking this historic decision on behalf of seven lakh Kashmiri Pandits. We assured them that our community will work with the government to fulfill the dream of Kashmir, where there will be peace, development and all will be happy.
